2008 Scholarship Application

This Scholarship is available to any graduating High School Seniors who reside in either Hamilton or Washington Township and plan to continue his / her education, by attending either a College, Vocational or Technical School majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Radio/TV Broadcasting or Media.

Each candidate must meet the following criteria:

Be a Graduating Senior who is continuing his or her education in Communications, Public Relations, Radio/TV Broadcasting or Media.
Describe active participation in Community Service.
Write and attach a 250 word essay showing evidence in your life of the motto “Service Above Self.” All essays must be typed.
Describe plans for continuing education.
At the end of the first year of school, recipient is requested to present a short (not more than 5 minute) talk to the Hamilton / Washington Sunrise Rotary Club on his / her first year experience in their new school.

The scholarship will be in the amount of $1000 dollars.
Checks awarded directly to the recipient.
Documentation supporting community service activities is recommended.
