Earlyact:

Earlyact: Partners in Citizenship is a Rotary sponsored school-wide service club engaging students in character building activities while preparing them for leadership roles. Students learn to identify and carry out projects which benefit their school and local communities, as well as communities world-wide. Active participation in Earlyact meets all the criteria for the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for Social Studies.

Members of the Reynolds Middle School EarlyAct Club receive recognition from the Hamilton Washington Rotary Club.

The idea of Earlyact originated from the Conflict Resolution Committee at Morgan Elementary School in 1997. Since its inception, Earlyact has been launched as a Rotary District program and it also has been officially recognized by the President of Rotary International at the Rotary Reaches out to Children Conference in Washigton DC, 1998.

There have been 10 other schools throughout the state which have replicated the program. Earlyact was exhibited at the Rotary International Conventions in Singapore and Argentina and was featured in Rotarian magazine. Presently, Earlyact is expanding globally in the Phillipines, New Zealand, Australia, Manila, Singapore as well as, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, California, Pennsylvania and Florida.

The Rotary Club of Hamilton, Washington sponsors five Earlyact clubs:
